Xabi Alonso anakuwa mchezaji wa 22 kuikosa fainali ya ligi ya mabingwa Ulaya kutokana na kupata adhabu ya kadi. Wajue wengine hapa

Blow: Xabi Alonso will become the 22nd player to miss a Champions League final following his foul on Bastian Schweinsteiger
Head slumped, his frozen expression a betrayal of his regret and realisation, Real Madrid’s Xabi Alonso knew that he had sinned against himself.
A sliding tackle – both mistimed and needless – had sent Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger tumbling to the turf and, with it, went crashing Alonso’s own hopes of a third Champions League final appearance.
A third yellow card of the campaign automatically ruled him out of next month’s final against the victors of Wednesday night’s semi-final between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid; he will be the 22nd player in the history of the competition to suffer such heartache.

Alonso, though, could yet have company in the sin bin in Lisbon with five players treading the suspension tightrope at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea’s Willian and David Luiz and Atletico’s Koke, Juanfran and Emiliano Insua are all one booking away from joining Alonso on the sidelines on May 24.
Were one of the Blues pair to suffer their own yellow peril, they could turn to one of three team-mates for some words of comforts.
David Luiz
Risk: David Luiz and Willian are one yellow card away from missing a potential Champions League final
Willian
For John Terry, Ramires and Branislav Ivanovic were all banned for the 2012 final when Chelsea’s penalty-shootout victory over Bayern Munich saw them claim their first Champions League trophy.
Willian has been electrifying for Chelsea this season and there is no suggestion Jose Mourinho will save the Brazilian for any potential final, especially with the tie at 0-0.
Likewise Luiz who, with Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel suspended and Nemanja Matic ineligible, must anchor the midfield against the Spaniards. It could well prove a nervy evening.
