This will definitely give you goosebumps: Justin Bieber has released the first trailer for his upcoming 3-D biopic Never Say Never. This “inspiring true story” will apparently tell the tale of the teen sensation from when he was a wee lad drumming in the kitchen to the nail polish mogul he is now.
The minute-and-a-half long trailer (sadly not yet available in 3-D) reveals footage from the films, combining shots of Bieber inspiring crowds of screaming fans as he performs in arenas. It also includes shots of Bieber inspiring his mom as a small child. Usher chimes in at one point to say, “The first time we met he almost passed me by” while a few tween fans say things like “He’s such an inspiration” and “I’ve been a fan of him since he posted his first video and I’ll be a fan of him until he posts his last video.”
Oh Bieber, always getting your fans to say such dramatic things. Our favorite part of the trailer is definitely the shot of little boy Bieber in a ball pit chucking a ball at the video camera. Such a deep cinematic metaphor.
The film is scheduled to come out in February (we’ve heard that some fans are already pre-ordering their tickets). In the meantime you can watch the trailer on repeat below:
