United's Premier League trophy parade
will begin at Old Trafford at 6pm today before reaching its conclusion
in Albert Square later in the evening.
Ferguson
and his players will attend a send-off event at the ground, with the
United manager due to address the crowd prior to departure.
Their
open-topped bus is due to leave at 6.30pm, with the event due to finish
at 8pm, after the squad have made their way into the city.
It
is anticipated significantly more people will attend than those who
braved heavy rain to acclaim United's record 19th title two years ago.
The
club's chief executive David Gill said: 'Winning a 20th league title is
a huge achievement for the club and we are excited to be able to share
this special moment with our fans.
'The
support from the fans has been incredible this season and we're looking
forward to celebrating with them during the trophy parade.'
