Mbarara want to play against the Super League sides more often
Mbarara Old Timers beat CRO 2-1 in Sunday’s Big league to take control
of the competitive Elgon Group action, as the battle for direct
qualification to the Bell Uganda Super League continued at Kakyeka
stadium.
Prior to the match, CRO was on top of the Bell League table before the
match and needed a win to extend their lead. However the result from
Mbarara left them seeking solace in the remaining matches.

they moved a step better to direct qualification after another top
challenger Entebbe was held to a 1-all draw by Soroti Garage in the
other match.
The visiting Entebbe FC side needed a penalty in the 53rd

in the net on Saturday, leaving Frank “Video” Anyau’s side
contemplating the net move.
Two goals from Richard Wandyaka and John Mayanja helped bottom side
