The 'story continues' for Manchester United and this is the new home kit the Barclays Premier League champions will wear next season.
As new boss David Moyes ushers in his era at Old Trafford, there is a return to the iconic look of the Nineties with an Eric Cantona-esque black collar.
Despite his uncertain future, after asking now-retired manager Sir Alex Ferguson that he wanted to leave the club, Wayne Rooney plays a leading part in the launch - revealed here by Sporstmail.
With Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG all said to be keen on the £25million-rated striker, Moyes' first task is to decide whether to sell Rooney or persuade him to stay after the pair hold showdown talks.
The 27-year-old models the new strip with last season's maligned gingham 'tea towel' design is largely out.
However, a tonal black and check does feature more subtly underneath the tailored collar (with three buttons akin to England's new away strip) which can be seen when upturned.

Kit makers Nike say the design 'celebrates the United's successes and Manchester's industrial heritage', when the check was produced in the city’s booming cotton mills in the 18th century.
Inside the neck is a woven label featuring the red devil from the United club crest alongside the motto: 'Forged in Industry, Striving for Glory'.
There are also two side vents on the hem of the shirt featuring the same tonal black and grey gingham check as under the collar.

The shorts, made from up to thirteen recycled plastic water bottles produced as part of Nike’s revolutionary recycled polyester, are white with a thin black stripe on the hem. The socks are black with a white stripe between two red.
The kit, which will be replaced next summer, is made of fabric weighing just 150 grams, which is integrated with Nike Dri-Fit technology to draw away sweat from the body to keep players cool and dry.
It is released in the shops on Thursday (June 6) and will retail at £55.
